M-Audio Devices & Driver Versions: Session Music Producer

the problem is a simple one, but cant find how to fix it. i juts got the m-audio session yesterday from Best Buy did everything i can playback and hear it through the headphones connected to the mic but how can i play what i recorded and be able to hear it through my laptops speakers?? Oh and im using Adobe Audition 2.0

You would have to select your built in sound card as the playback/output device.

yea i thought the same too thats why i said it should be a simple problem, but when i tried changing the setting in Adobe to the windows sound card it changes everything and takes out the mic input which is the m-audio mic and replaces everything into windows inputs and outs and then i cant record

You'll want to check with Adobe to see if it's even possible to use 2 different audio devices at the same time, such as with an MME/Direct X driver mode. The Producer USB is a microphone and sound card in one, and most DAW applications utilize ASIO drivers which use the same sound card for input and output.
