Tried the installer, it installs correctly, but after restart, there is nothing...
When I click the M-Audio icon in the bottom right corner, it says that the device is not found and I should restart the computer.
When I install, I have the audiophile turned off, and then I turn off the computer, turn on the Audiophile, and turn on the computer. Is that not the right way to do it?

Disconnect the Audiophile from pc...
Install the driver run as admin blah blah vista.
Shut down your comp
Plug in FW an press power button on FW
Boot up your pc.....
------------------------that should do it. if not boot up your copmp then turn on FW.
If that dosent work go to your device manager an make sure it looks correct in ther. i hope this helps

Tried doing exactly what you wrote, still doesn't work. The lights on the Audiophile just keeps blinking.
There is nothing in my device list, I can't find the Audiophile...So it might be something with my fw card or the fw chord?

Edit: The file I used was FW_V32_5.10.00.5054v2.exe, I remember there being an error with SetACL.

Does the Audiophile still work in another computer with a different Operating System? That way you can tell if it's the sound device or if it's a driver/windows 7 problem.
