View Full Version : Emphasis option broken in new XP SP3 driver
Hello, the emphasis option doesn't work in the new XP SP3 driver (5.10.0.5065). I try to select 50/15usec but it doesn't take effect, and if I exit out of the panel it resets itself to "not indicated" when I reopen it. It worked fine on the old driver (the one with the old GUI), and took effect in real-time.
I am using the Audiophile 2496.
Any solutions?
This is now a known issue with this driver; it should be fixed shortly with another update. Please continue to check our drivers/updates page (http://www.m-audio.com/index.php?do=support&tab=driver).
We just posted another update Version: 5.10.00.5069v3:

Problem persists. Emphasis option still does nothing when the option is selected, and resets to "not indicated" when exitting panel and reopening.
5069 does appear in the about window so I know it updated fine.
Our Verifications department was also able to reproduce this issue. It is being logged and forwarded to the developers.
Any updates on this issue? I am still experiencing it. Fresh install of Vista SP1, and also still experiencing it with any driver for XP that uses the new Delta control panel interface. The old interface panel does not have this issue. I can't use the old panel on Vista, unfortunately.
Just wanted to provide more details:
This issue is also present on Windows 7, and Vista x64 (I just tried both recently). Seems to be a problem in the newer interface M-Audio panel.
