I downloaded and installed the latest driver for Windows 7 for the Transit. It installed fine but I do not see any device in the Sound control panel for the analog output. I see the digital output; but no analog output device. Consequently I can't listen to anything.

the beta drivers don't work on Win7, 32bit

if anyone has it working please do let us know

M-Audio, when can you provide us with a driver that works?

shouldn't betas at least work half-way?
seems like NOBODY is having any luck with this 6.0.1

please help

@MusicLee

Make your own thread stating your issues. Complaining in someone elses thread won't get your Transit working :P

On the plus side. Yes, I have Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit and my Transit is working beautifully MINUS occasionally having to use "the sound test method." Right click the m-audio icon, go to the sound control panel, then double click your Transit (which should be your default device). Under the Supported Formats tab, highlight your sample rate (make sure its checked) and test the sound. That method has worked for many people here, including me.

@NealMayer

Sorry to assist in the thread hijack. The SPDIF output is the output I had default. Make sure your plugged into the green ring jack and maybe run the sound check method and everything should hopefully be gravy.

hello

i have exactly the same problem as nealmayer
analog input and spdif output are avaiable but there is no analog output

the methode proposed by botus99 did not help on my computer (windows 7 / 32)

i am a little disapointed by m-audio
this is the only clean windows 7 driver missing for my computer - all the rest works just fine (incl. my motu-interface...)

I tried what botus99 suggested and I am now listening to beautiful music.
Thank you botus99.

What threw me is in the Sound Control Panel the device shown says S/PDIF on it but it is actually both the analog and digital output.

Thanks again

I, too, can confirm that there is no analog option available for output. The "the sound test method" does not help on my system. The "test" buttons are all grayed out.
