I am running Windows Vista Home Premium SP1 32bit and when I try to start Session, it gives me a blank error. I personally blame vista (because I hate windows as it is) but any help would be great.

Thanks! :)

This could be an issue with your video/graphics card. Try updating its driver. If you still encounter problems, please provide more information about your system as requested in this thread (http://forums.m-audio.com/showthread.php?t=57), including your video/graphics card chipset and Session version.

Are you able to close the error and use Session? Can you see the Session interface in the background?

Which Session bundle do you have?

No, I am unable to see session at all. As for bundle I am unsure of what you mean. I bought a midi piano from Best Buy and it came with it. Here is exactly what I got: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=8219279&st=M-Audio+midi+piano&lp=1&type=product&cp=2&id=1166839533193

Thanks, that's the info. I don't know why Best Buy lists it as the Keystation, it's actually the Session Keystudio. Anyhow, have you updated to Session 1.6.3? What version is on the included DVD?

Yes, I have tried updating. As for the version, I can't figure it exactly out but I am 99% sure its 1.5.x. I would tell you if my other computer wasn't updated with the new version and this one would actually load it.

I talked with our Software Verifications department and the problem is likely with your video card. Some integrated video/graphics cards have problems such as this with Session. The developers are investigating this, but there is no ETA on an update to address it.

Did you get the latest video drivers direct from Intel (http://www.intel.com/support/graphics/intelg965/sb/CS-023713.htm)? This page indicates that these drivers provide the latest support for OpenGL applications, which is what Session uses.

Alright I will try that once I can actually download the update, currently it takes me to a page saying it can't find the file to download. I will repost with results.

Updating my graphics card did not resolve the issue.

I don't think there's anything else to do since we have seen similar issues with other users using he integrated graphics cards. As soon as a new version that addresses this issue becomes available, an announcement will be made in this section.
