i turn on my fast track pro, windows recognizes it, i start session bu then i get this message " ASIO failed to open" but i can still open session.

Anybody know what this means? is there a solution?:confused:

Are you running the latest version of Session (1.6.3) downloaded from our website?

Yes i downloaded the new version. But the fast track pro does the same thing!!!

Any idea whats going on?

Yes i have all the drivers installed just in case u were goin to ask that.

In the Session preferences panel, can you select Fast Track Pro as an ASIO input and output device?

If you haven't already done that, and it will let you do that, do so, then quit and restart Session and see if that changes anything.

In the separate M-Audio control panel for FTP (the little red/white icon in the far right of your Windows Taskbar), is FTP showing up as "connected"?
