I have XP SP2 and when i try to install it it says "it's not supported at this time" and when i click on the M-Audio icon it says i am not connected. I even had my friend who is an IT Manager come over and couldn't figure it out.

Do you get this message when installing Session? Or when installing the Fast Track USB driver? Can you post a screen shot of the error message? What version of Session do you have? Are you positive you have Service Pack 2 for XP? The only time this message should appear is if you have SP1, or SP3.

Hi Elyse,

For SP3, you need to register and download 1.6.3v4 (http://www.m-audio.com/news/en_us-1375.html)

Hello Patrick, i've actually have done that already that couple times actually, i still get the same thing.

Ah, you said you were on Session 1.5 above, thus my confusion. There was a web error on our side the first 48 hours that 1.6.3v4 went live, and some users were erroneously linked to the file for 1.6.3 instead of 1.6.3v4 (only "v4" will work with SP3).

Is there any chance that you were affected by this web error? As I'm at home on a mac right now, the only troubleshooting I could recommend at the moment would be to delete all downloaded versions of 1.6.3 from your system, download 1.6.3v4 one more time to make absolutely sure you have the v4 version, and try installing without the 1.5 disc in your drive. This recommendation would only be relevant if there is some chance the installer you're trying to run at the moment was downloaded within the first 48 hours that we made the download link available.

I wish I had more helpful advice for you this weekend, but I'm afraid a consultation with our tech support team is necessary if you're 100% sure the installer you're trying to run is 1.6.3v4.

Ok great it works now, it turned out when i was going to your site on downloading it, it was giving me the wrong link, it was still giving me 1.5 to download, once i finally found 1.6.3v4 it works. Thanks for your help.

Thank you for letting us know you got it resloved Elyse, that is great news. I'm sorry our temporary website issue caused you so much trouble.

Take Care!
