Alright i have 2 questions

first is the microphone compatible with other software's like audacity

second do you have to buy the session again to get the keyboard

The Producer USB microphone that comes in the Session Music Producer bundle can be used with Audacity or just about any other recording app if you don't care for Session - though you can do a lot more with Session than you can with Audacity. Here (http://www.m-audio.com/index.php?do=support&tab=faqs&serie_ID=6&PID=eb62503c76724541eaeb1b5cb834fb3a&x=0&y=0&keywords=installation#tabs) are instructions on installing the mic without Session. (note: if you've already installed Session, the drivers for the mic have already been installed and you're done with intstallation, period).

You can buy the Keystudio 49 keyboard without Session (http://store.apple.com/us/product/TN529ZM/A) bundled in, but there is little to no cost savings. Buying the Session KeyStudio bundle if you already own Session Music Producer is not a wasteful approach.
