- Selecting any FX for my guitar track has stopped working since upgrade.
- Clicking on an effect shows "Loading MultiFX Preset..." in status
- I have located my factory content folder and rescanned about 10 times now. Each time, it clears and repopulates the list.
- Interestingly enough....Audio loops work with no issues

Version: 1.6.3v5
Content: From DVD: Session 1.0.3
OS: Windows XP PRO SP3
Hardware: Fast Track USB updated to V32_5.10.00.5114v4.

What gives? Am I forever {No Effect}?

Which MultiFX Presets are you loading? It looks like everything but the Amp simulation presets work. The Amp simulation presets require the GT Player Guitar Plug-in, which is only compatible with XP, and since these latest updates have supported Vista, it has not been included. I think the Amp simulation presets were supposed to have been removed.

You are right. The non-"Amp" presets do work.

Please don't tell me that you have stopped supporting my favorite functionality of the Session product. Sure, tweaking individual effects will give me a plethora of customized sounds. But, having quickly selectable presets as a base for creating compositions was the whole reason why I purchased the product in the first place.

Is there any way I can manually add the GT Express VST plugin?

Why are you guys so keen to put out Vista updates at the expense of your, much larger, existing XP customer-base? I am a Software Engineer at the world's largest security software company. We always ensure that existing customers do not lose features/functionality as the result of an update.

I just e-mailed you a zip folder to try and replace this missing content. Let me know if it works out for you.

You were probably not working there during the speed disk era then ;)
