View Full Version : "sorry, session couldn't open the device you specified"

this message is at the bottom of the audio hardware box that pops up when i start session. I've uninstalled & re-installed twice following the instructions carefully & it still won't recognize my key studio 49-note keyboard. I'm hoping there's just something I'm missing.....help?
I have a toshiba satellite l355d-s7815 running vista.

The Micro USB is the audio device included with the KeyStudio 49. You should be selecting the M-Audio USB ASIO driver as described in this FAQ:

i've tried that, however the drop down menu says 'no wave' instead of 'ASIO: M-Audio ASIO USB'. so i am here to see if anyone has had, or is having a similar problem. i couldn't fins anything in the FAQ that related to my situation.....

Does the Micro Control Panel recognize the device as "connected"? You may need to manually update the driver as described in this FAQ:
