M-Audio uses public and private Beta as part of the product development process.

Public Beta
Public Beta is the development stage prior to the full release of a product. It is open to all registered members of the M-Audio Community Forum. You are not required to submit an application to participate in public Beta. Once registered you’ll have access to current beta project forums and downloads. Please Note: Technical Support for public Beta is performed only in the forums. Please do not contact M-Audio’s support staff concerning public Beta issues.

Private Beta
Private Beta is the development stage prior to public Beta. M-Audio Software Quality Assurance is currently accepting applications for plug-in, application, DJ related and driver development beta testing. The nature of testing in private Beta is much more serious. Not all applicants will be given access to the forums as we have received an enormous amount of interest in our private Beta program.

In the event your application is accepted you will be sent a quiz to determine your skill level. Elite performers will then be asked to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement. Upon returning a signed NDA (and if the project you’ve requested in not at capacity) you will be issued a username and password to the private Beta forum within 7 business days. We normally cap each project at 50 participants.

Any individual or group of individuals who work for an audio interface and/or audio software vendor or manufacturer other than Avid are immediately disqualified from participating in the private Beta program.

If private Beta is of interest to you please submit an application here (http://www.m-audio.com/index.php?do=support.betaprogram)
