1- Is definitely coming a vst/au version of the venom editor ?
2 - Will it work with mac osx ?

If yes, any estimated date for the release ?
If not how difficult is to automate the effect and synth parameters from the DAW ?

Thanks.

Can't wait to buy it but think that it is essential.

Yes Vyzex Venom Editor is set to support VST/AU (Mac). And there has not been a release date given.

Venom and Vyzex Venom Editor support Continuous Controller for Automation. Further information is covered in the M-Audio Venom User Guide that can be found here (http://www.m-audio.com/index.php?do=support&tab=manuals).

Hi Fab,

As was mentioned at NAMM and explained to Venom product reviewers, Vyzex Venom (provided free with Venom) is not a VST/AU editor, but there will be a retail upgrade available to Vyzor Venom which is both a standalone and a VST/AU editor. We'll be releasing this upgrade by the end of March 2011 for $19.95 USD.

Vyzex Venom (the free standalone editor) is will be getting some extra features in the coming month when it is updated to v1.15 which will be a free update to the exisiting editor provided with Venom.

Most notable in the new Vyzex features is LinkTracker, which automatically tracks the links between multis, singles and patterns in the bank views. Users will be able to see which singles and patterns are used by multis, and any drag and drop reorganization of singles or patterns they do will be automatically reflected in the multis and singles that reference them. These extra features will also be part of the Vyzor Venom editor.

For more information, please visit the official Venom Editor support forum at: http://www.vyzor.com/support/viewforum.php?f=53.

Cheers,
