I just bought the Session Music Producer with the USB Microphone a few days ago.
I did everything the manual says but I couldnīt make it work. I installed the program and the driver but when I try to run the session the message "session stop working" appears:
I tried downloading the new driver but when I tried to install it, crashes and the same message appear but in this case says "setup.exe stop working"
I am using WINDOWS VISTA HOME PREMIUM SP1
HP PAVILION TX 1000 NOTEBOOK PC
AMD TURION 64X2 MOBILE TECHNOLOGY 1.90 Ghttp://forums.m-audio.com/sendmessage.phpHZ
2.00 GB RAM
32 BITS
I need your help.
Please tell me what I must do to make it run, I am desperate here.
Thanks a lot.

Are you running a non-English Operating System? If so, what language?

What version of Session do you have? Have you tried updating to 1.6.3?

Session hasn't been qualified for use with Vista SP1; however, once you register (www.m-audio.com/register) your Producer USB you can download Session 1.6.3 (http://www.m-audio.com/?do=products.demo&demo_ID=Session163&form=1).

I've been working with another customer experiencing a similar issue. There seems to be a bug affecting Session on non-English OS's.

Iīve downloaded the sesion updater 1.6.3. and when I try to make it run crashes and appears a message saying thereīs no previous version of session updater installed, you need a previous version to install this application.
I re-installed the regular version and try to run the updater, same thing happens.
What can I do?

We have received a few reports from users who get that error message when attempting to update to 1.6.3 from 1.5. Please send me a Private Message with your full name and mailing address and I can send you a Session 1.6 DVD to install from.
