M-Audio Delta 1010lt surround?

Hey,

i have delta 1010lt soundcard, and i wonder is it possible to use like 5.1 surround system?

i have genelec active loudspeakers (8030a*5) and one subwoofer, can i connect the speakers directly into the 1010lt card?

Yes, however, your application must be capable of outputting multiple channels of audio. The Delta 1010lt will just pass through the sound as it's received from the program.

I use vista 32bit version, thats the reason why i didn´t find the right setup in my control panel.

This was in Avs forum,

"This is actually a little annoying. You cannot have the card in multichannel mode for WMP or MCE so you will need to constantly change the mode of the card depending on if you want to listen to music or watch a movie. The drivers do not have bass management and do not take advantage of the built in Vista features such as bass management."


Hopefully M-Audio will have some more updates?
