i just bought a new delta 1010lt card to replace my audigy2 in my daw...
I love everything about it but it is missing one important thing....

A GRAPHIC EQUALIZER!!! why oh why did the m-audio guys
not include one in the driver? having one at the monitor output is a must!

even the cheapo realtek onboard audio drivers have one.....

sure i can hook up a hardware EQ but thats another noise source.

if you listen to your product users maudio, please add an EQ to
the driver. thanks!

I think your missing the point a little. First thing, The 1010lt is not a 'soundcard'. It is a recording 'interface'.A graghic equalizer would be useless to 99.9% of users. Most, if not all professional and semi pro soundcards don't have graghic equalizers. They are designed first and foremost to use along side software applications (pro tools/cubase) its these that you would use to 'eq' music you've recorded. graghic eq's are only found in consumer sound cards like creative sound blaster type cards. If I'm not mistaken I'm sure you can run a delta 1010lt and a sound blaster type card at the same time..

i use cooledit pro 2 to master the music i make, and i havent figured out how to equalize the monitor output in that application. i want to be able to equalize what im hearing ie; compensate for my AKG240's lack of bass...but record a flat signal.

without equalizing the monitor signal i always tend to record my music with
too much bass... (thinking there isn't enough) not sure if this makes sense....

I still don't fully understand why you want to equalize when you do. But in situations like this were your speakers cant generate bass adequatley, the normal remedy would be to add a sub woofer. To equalize any output would cause your monitoring to be untrue, resulting in a bad mix no?
