Hi there
I have a custom built PC with m-audio delta audiophile 24/96 sound card. I'm trying to use cubase se to line up some dialogue replacement on video footage. The problem I'm experiencing is that the captured audio files basically stutter and fade in/out when I import and play them back. If I play a line of recorded dialogue which reads Hey go over there and see if that idiot is hanging around then when I try to play it, all I'll hear is ... go over there.... if that idiot.... around
The start of each line is clipped off, and then it fades in/out every two or three seconds.
This happens to any such audio file I import and try to work with.
There is nothing wrong with the actual audio files to start with, and its not the amp or speaker set up that is at fault.
I really, really would appreciate any advice, pointers or even stabs in the dark from you guys : )
