session w/micro install help

i am trying to install session w/micro and I have windows xp sp3. I downloaded the driver update MAMicro V32 5.10.00.5907v3 and I still cannot get the dvd-rom to install. I also downloaded the session web install. when I try to run the setup. The message: setup.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close, appears. Anything else I can do?

Do you have any virus protection/firewall software enabled that may have interfered with the download? Can you disable them and download the update again? Do you have anything else you can test installing to make sure there is no problem with the Windows installer app?
