running vista home. i use adobe audition for my main mixing engine. i put the 1010lt card in and right off the bat it says that the operating system doesn't support it and i cant get any further. it seems to me like other people on this forum are able to use the delta 1010lt. any help? thanks

You must install the latest Vista compatible drivers before installing the actual PCI card. The latest drivers are available on our drivers/updates page (www.m-audio.com/drivers).

ok thanks for the tip ^^^ i did that and it installs properly. i have my studio monitors hooked up to the 1/2 outputs. playing songs on itunes is great. as soon as i go into audition it stops working properly.

i have my mic plugged into my preamp with phantom power and the preamp plugged into the XLR input of the 1010lt. while switching between options to get the mic to actually record all i get is hiss and nothing else.

on some settings i can see that the mic is transferring to the computer however no matter what i do i cannot get any audio from the track i recorded. if i load another track in audition it plays that no problem. help

What driver do you have selected in Audition? M-Audio Delta ASIO?

Did you set the jumpers on the PCI card for line level? If you look at the mixer tab of the Delta Control Panel, how hot are the levels coming in?

Can you test directly monitoring the inputs? On the output Tab, setup outputs 1/2 for "mixer"; make sure the mic is not near the speakers so they don't feedback!
