I have a 1010LT and am using a Mytek Stereo192 ADC into the SPIDF input of my soundcard.
It has been working fine until recently, when I tried recording at sample rates above 48k. Horrible distortion.
I checked the Mytek on a friend's system and it is working fine.
I have a powerful PC running XP SP3.
I uninstalled the souncard driver (5069) and installed the previous version
(5052).
Now it seems to be fine - no distortion.

Has anyone else had problems with the SPIDF input with that driver?

We just tested recording via the S/PDIF input at 96k on SP3 w/ the 5069 driver and had no problems. What recording application are you running? Have you checked for BIOS/Chipset updates for your motherboard?

Thanks for the reply.
I am running Cubase SX3.
I will check out BIOS/chipset updates and report back.

I have an ASUS P5K-E (Wi-Fi app edition) motherboard
I have uddated the BIOS and disabled the WI-FI app in the BIOS and the hardware devices.
I am still getting distortion on sample rates above 48k not just on the SPIDF input but on the internal input as well.

Not there when I use driver V5057 or earlier.

Just did a day of recording at 96k with driver V5057. No problems.
The fault seems to be with V5069.
Any ideas?
