I upgraded my box recently, and I cannot get the device to initialize. I have fully patched my wondows and tried uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers to no success. Its not a problem with my mobo drivers because it is recognizing the card is present and sees it as an audiophile. The install goes smoothly, the control panel sees it, but I still cannot get any audio out of it. If I open a media player, it just freezes, seems like when the card is trying to be initialized, it freezes and crashes.
Note - I was working fine with older drivers on a box that was originally SP2 that was recently updated to SP3 and the card still worked fine.
