A couple of months ago I read of the new Delta Control Panel and was told by an M-Audio techie to download and reinstall the driver and the new control panel would come up. The driver installed, the panel came up and lasted about a month. After installing a Beta version of Mixcraft the new panel dissappeared but the old panel was there instead. I took out the Beta Mixcraft and reset the 2496 card. The icon for the new panel is still on the computer control panel, task bar as well as the icon for the old. Clicking on either icon brings up the old panel. I have downloaded and reinstalled four times and there is no change. The new control panel will not come up.
I have a custom build computer with XPpro-SP2, Pentium 4, 2 gb RAM plus 500gb HD. 50% of my work is digital conversion of audio files from WAV..
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Shut down and remove the Delta card from the system. Reboot and uninstall the drivers; then go to C:\Windows\System 32 and delete the DeltaII.cpl & deltaIICoIn.dll files. Then install the latest driver (5069v3 which has the new control panel); shut down, and re-install the PCI card.
