Hi: I built a new PC using Vista 64-bit and went with a different brand sound card to accomodate the 64 bit OS. All I do is rip vinyl to my PC (using a Benz Ruby cartridge and Sutherland phono stage) and I must say that I'm disappointed in the results from the other brand's sound quality compared to the m-audio card (and the other brand was significantly more expensive!).

My questions:

1) I need RCA inputs: is there another m-audio product that will work on Vista 64bit and allow me to rip vinyl?
2) I put an app in to be a beta tester for the 2496 Vista 64 bit, but I did not see any link to an NDA ... is the beta program still accepting testers?

I work for a software company and I understand how difficult it is for companies to filter and meet customer compatibility and enhancements requests (and remain in business at the same time!). Any roadmap info that you can provide would be helpful. Thank you - John

1. The Fast Track Pro and Fast Track Ultra have RCA inputs and qualified Vista 64bit drivers.

2. I have sent an e-mail to the Beta Administrator regarding your application; you can follow up with betaadmin@m-audio.com
