Hi guys, I've had my 1010lt for about 2 years and it has always worked perfectly. Then yesterday while i was recording I picked up my mic stand and moved it about 1 foot. Then input #2 just stopped working. I did touch any of the settings and I don't think I pulled any of the chords.
Since then I have set the jumpers on inputs 1 and 2 to be the same. And I have set the levels in the driver software to be the same. I used the same mic and cable in both inputs. Input #1 works. Input #2 does not.
Has anyone else had an input die on them? I am hoping that this is an issue with analog breakout cable, and not the soundcard itself. Do you know how to troubleshoot this?
Also, can you buy a replacement analog breakout cable for the 1010lt?
It could be a problem with the breakout cable. Do you have a multi-meter or any way to test the cable? The replacement cables can normally be ordered through our online store, but they are currently out of stock. I've e-mailed our repairs department to find out if we have any in stock locally.

Thanks JA, I do have a multimeter. I will test the breakout cable when i get home tonight. Please let me know if find any replacement breakout cables available.
Thanks you.
Turns out it was a discrepancy in our system; the breakout cables are in fact in stock and the online store has been updated to reflect this. You can find them here if need be:

I have had the Delta 1010LT for about 1 1/2 years. The output cuts in and out, but the recording doesn't seem to be affected. A friend of mine told me this is a common problem with this product, that it's a defective cable (breakout cable #1). Is this correct? Should I go ahead a purchase this particular cable?
It's not a common problem, however, if one of the channels is cutting out, the problem could be with the breakout cable. Does jiggling the cable cause the sound to cut in and out? Have you tested with a different cable connecting from the output to your speaker?

and it does correct the problem for a while. I have tried switching connecting cables, and the same problem occurs. I just wanted to make certain the problem would more likely be in the cable, rather than the card, before I purchased a new cable. My friend also had a Delta 1010lt with the same exact problem.

So my problem has expanded to Input #1 now. Currently, both inputs #1 and #2 do not work. Both went out in mid-use. I did not change any settings. Inputs 3-8 work fine.
My mic, cable, and external phantom power supply that I used on inputs #1 and #2 work fine when sent through an external preamp and into one of inputs 3-8.
I have tested the breakout cable with a multi meter and it looks fine. But I did hear a crackle sound when moving one of the mic cables plugged into input #1.
I just ordered a replacement analog breakout cable. Hopefully that will fix the problem

If jiggling the cable temporarily corrects the problem, then it's likely the breakout cable.

My new breakout cable arrived on monday. Inputs 1 and 2 still do not work. Looks like I might be a problem with the card itself.
