Audiophile 2496 No sound RESOLVED

Hi,

I bought the Audiophile 2496, installed the drivers, then the card, then finished the installation, but there is no sound. I reinstalled the drivers a few times, disabled onboard audio, set up AP 1/2 as default playback device.

When I launch the delta control panel, i also get this:

where the dB meters constantly flick between grey and fully coloured as if the output is on and off and on and off (for all panels).

What driver version are you running? Did you install from the disc or download an update from our website? Do the meters behave the same if no audio applications are running or playing audio? Try resetting the control panel. What other PCI cards do you have installed? You may want to test the card in different PCI slots.

running the 5.10.00.5052v3 version, but also had 5.10.00.5057v3 installed before, which was with just as bad results

the meters do behave constantly like that independet of whether audio is being played or not

no other PCI cards installed

will try the other PCI slot i have tomorrow(since it's a bit late now)

Thank you Ja, putting it in a different PCI slot resolved the problem completely (and am using the latest drivers now as well)
