Hello!
I had the MicroTrack 24/96 for years and it recently stopped working, so I got myself the MicroTrack II and I feel that it's mostly a huge improvement. The thing that bothers me about it, however, is that the recorder won't recognize and play music or recordings whose bitrate isn't included in the recording options. (256 kbps, for example, a very common one.) I don't typically use it as a music player, but there have been instances where I needed to have a mobile player for commissions or something and some of the files would be missing. Is this going to be changed through firmware updates? Or is supporting all of these different bitrates too much for the MicroTrack II?
