Hello

I have the M-Audio Audiophile 24/96
Windows Vista 64Bit
Intel E8400
4GB DDR 800 (2x2GB)
MSI P35 Neo2-fr
Driver: New Beta 64 Driver 5069

I have the card connected to my AV-Receiver Yamaha RX-V 659, digital.
With Winamp I have 44,1Khz output.
If i watch a DVD with Power DVD or DVB-Viewer I have 48Khz in the Sound Menü, how I get there 44,1Khz for no Resampling, Real SPDIF through?

I hope you can help me.

If your media player outputs 48kHz the 24/96 should have no problem with this. Are you experiencing some kind of problem?

No, I have no problems, but I have bought the M-Audio for use AC3/dts with Spdif passthrough in 44,1khz. Because the onboard Sound card samples the signal from 44,1Khz to 48Khz and my AV-Receiver have to sample it back to 44,1Khz and so the quality of the Sound ist not so good how direct pass through to the AV-Receiver with 44,1Khz.
In XP Home it works with the old drivers (not working with Vista 64) so I have expected it, with the new Drivers I can't put the output Signal of Spdif to 44,1Khz.

I hope you can help me?

The media and the media player determine the sample rate. If the source sample rate is 48, the 24/96 should output 48. The 24/96 is not going to re-sample the audio. 48 is the sample rate of ac3 and it is the sample rate of dvd audio, and therefore, most current media audio is 48. The only media that really uses 44.1 anymore is CD audio.
