just installed the card and the software. I am running at 48k into a B&K Digital Preamp SPDIF digital out from Delta. I have sound and use of interface but I am getiing periodic dropouts when listening. I am using foobar 2000 for playing and the files are stored on the Lacie USB HDs. I followed all of the FAQ pointers for performance and I have played arond with the buffer size and samplig rate but no luck.
The lacie drives and foobar were used previously with a much slower computer and a creative audigy platinim sound card without a problem.

It could be a clocking issue. Is the B&K set to external sync?

How would i check that? And Why would it be an issue with the Maudio and not the Creative card or my hi def internal digital card

Are you using the RAID? If not, disable it.
