I'm not just talking about 192k... :)
I've had three (http://forums.m-audio.com/showthread.php?t=492) different (http://forums.m-audio.com/showthread.php?t=3510) posts (http://forums.m-audio.com/showthread.php?t=4247) trying to get my Delta 66 to successfully run beyond 48k without pops and clicks and learned a lot in the journey. I convinced myself the card was ultimately not capable of it, at least in my system. So convinced that I bought an Audiophile 192. Problem solved. It even works at 192k!
I do notice that the AP192 seems a little more susceptible to electrical noise -- like appliances etc. kicking in (home studio). Grounding? Still, I'll trade that issue for the one I was having.
Thanks to JA for all the support. And thanks to M-Audio -- the Delta 66 served me well for years.
