View Full Version : Delta 1010 PCI host card install problem

Hi all,

I've just purchased a new PC system & have a critical problem with my Delta 1010 PCI host card - the metal bracket on the card is longer than the access hole on the back of my computer. Thus I'm unable to instal the PCI card. Any ideas on how to solve this problem, please? Any advice would be most appreciated.

What ATX standard (size) does your computer case comply with? Is it a micro case? Have you tried loosening the screws holding the motherboard to see you can shift it to accommodate the card? Can you post a picture?

Sounds like a design issue with the case. Maybe you can snip the end off the metal plate on the PCI card with a pair of tin snips to allow it to seat properly, if I am picturing the problem correctly.
