Hey,

Is it possible to monitor/get playback by connecting the detla 1010 to a home stereo system via two 1/4 inch to RCA cables?

Yes. You would connect the Delta's outputs 1 & 2 to an available line level stereo input (e.g. CD, Aux, VCR) on your home stereo.

I'd recommend setting the output levels to "-10" (pushbuttons on the back of the 1010 chassis) for use with a consumer device. "+4" is pretty hot and might distort the receiving device's inputs.

I just tried this and I'm getting a distorted hum/buzz. I can kinda hear anything Im sending through it. I've tried only having my PC, Delta 1010 and the Stereo system running and this is all powered off an extension cord that is right on the breaker. The stereo system does indicate noise around 60hz. Any ideas?
