Upgrade to Vista?

I tried installing my 2496 two years ago but never had any luck getting it to work with Win-Xp-Media Center Edition. I am assuming no drivers were ever developed for this edition.

I removed the 2496 and reinstalled my $30 Turtle Beach Santa Cruz Card. Would it be worthwhile to upgrade to Vista or wait a little bit longer for a better Win OS? I have done without the 2496 for 2 years, but would like a little better interface than my Turtle Beach.

The joke is this: Upgrade to Vista x64 if you have 4gb or more RAM and you DONT have a M-Audio card. The m-audio drivers are crap. If you use any other card manufacturer, you should be in good shape.
