I have my monitors on 7/8 out and my turntables on 5/6 in. My problem is that I cannot hear my turntables through my computer. I can hear the beat in cool edit that I am recording over but I can't hear my scratches until I am done recording and press play. I cannot even get my turntables to play through when I am not recording. Can anyone help?
What OS and driver are you running? Can you please provide more information about your system as requested in this thread (http://forums.m-audio.com/showthread.php?t=14).
Cool Edit does not support input monitoring so you'll have to use the Delta's monitor mixer. You can set the output source for outputs 7/8 to be inputs 5/6; however, if you connect your speakers to outputs 1/2, you can set the output source for outputs 1/2 to be the Monitor Mixer which will allow you to monitor all hardware inputs and software returns.

I am on windows vista. I am not sure on the driver it says 5.10.0.5069
I believe there is an issue with that driver and trying to directly monitor certain inputs through certain outputs; I think your current configuration would be affected.
Connect your speakers to outputs 1/2 instead. On the output tab of the control panel, set the output source for the 1/2 output to "Mixer". Then, on the Mixer tab, turn up the level for inputs 5/6 to directly monitor that signal through outputs 1/2.

same computer new problem. I am now having trouble monitoring my turntables(5/6 in) on my headphones(5/6 out).
There is currently an issue with the driver that affects direct input routing through various outputs; currently, only monitoring through outputs 1/2 works properly.

So I would just replace my monitors with the headphones out of 1/2? Is there going to be an updated driver in the future to fix that?
Unless you have an external mixer that you could use to connect both the speakers and headphones, you'll have to swap them out. The Delta card only has line level outputs and wasn't designed to have headphones connected directly; with an adapter you will probably be able to hear output, though it may not be loud enough. The routing issues have been logged and forwarded to the developer.
