Individual drum sounds

I recently purchased a copy of Session, and so far it seems easy to use.

However, the first song I am working on has a lot of pushes in the drum track. What I've noticed is that the existing drum tracks that are included in the program are straight ahead rhythm tracks. Is there a way that I can separate drum sounds (that is, have a separate snare track, separate high hat track, separate crash cymbals track) so that the pushes in the drum tracks can be accurate?

What is the best way to do this?

It's not possible to split up the included drum loops. With a MIDI controller keyboard you could setup a drum kit instrument and record your own drum loops.
