Currently using Delta_V32_5.10.00.5069v3 drivers.

I'm having the problem of not being able to change the samplerate in my control panel. I've seen some posts advising to roll back to the Delta_WDM_5.10.00.5057v3 driver to cure this. Before I do that, I would like to make sure that I'm not going to have any new problems or loss of functionality with the different driver.

OS - XP SP3
Cubase 3.1.1

I see these release notes but I'm not really sure what will apply:

Fixes in this release for XP SP2 users of the 5.10.00.5057v3 driver include:

* Introduction release with FW style Control Panel
* Fixed an issue with the Delta AP192 where Engaging the 'Record Enable' and 'Input
Monitor' switches while monitoring sound caused digital noise and device
to drop off bus.
* Fixed an issue with the Delta AP192 where a BSOD would occur while using SPDIF
* Fixed a problem where some Delta 1010 users might experience a problem where the Control Panel Mixer output Volume controls are non responsive
* Fixed a problem where the AP192 can freeze the system if it is sharing its interrupt
* Fixed a problem where in the Control Panel, one could have both the internal and external sync
options to be engaged simultaneously.
* Fixed a problem where the Sync source shows "Locked" when source sample rate is
different from the settings in the control panel.
* Fixed a problem where the Control Panel was not responding to change in sample settings.
* Fixed a problem with the Delta AP192 where the control panel was not responding correctly to
changes in sample rate with sync source set to external.

** Note: Some users may have issues with AC-3 over SPDIF with this release.

Any chance of a driver update to address this samplerate lock problem?

Hello Goya,
Yes,
I too am having problems with sample rate. I have a program which requires 48K sampling, but when booted, comes up with an error that says the 1010LT is only capable of 42.1K sampling. I have tried to update the drivers to V32.5.10.00.5056, but all it did was destroy the program, and the 1010 had to be reloaded.
Any suggestions?
Cheers,
B

If you are running Windows XP, I would recommend using the 5057v3 driver. If you have the 5069 driver installed, run the uninstaller, then go to C:\Windows\System 32 and delete the DeltaII.cpl & deltaIICoIn.dll files; restart, then install the 5057v3 driver.

Many thanks JA for your quick response. I will have a go at installing the driver you mentioned. I am still unsure how to update the drivers safely, that is, within windows control panel, or in the Delta program, but will have a try. I can always reload the Delta program.
Once again, many thanks,
Barry
