I need to keep sound coming out of my intergrated motherboard setup rather than my delta 2496. In other words, is it possible to keep both installed and have the 2496 working with sonar and everything else with my usual setup?
Go to the Windows Control Panel>Sounds>Playback tab and select your built-in sound card as the default device. When installing a new device, Windows usually designates it as the default playback device.

I've tried to do that. However, when I go to the playback tab, the intergrated device is not listed there. Only the delta 2496. What else can I do?
Most motherboards allow for multiple active sound cards, however, yours may not. Check the manual for your motherboard to see if there is any mention of this. Also check for any BIOS updates for you motherboard that may support this.
