I'm having trouble setting up my Key Rig software in Ableton 7 LE. When I load key Rig as an VST plug in, it only accepts MIDI information on channel 1.
If I use Key Rig or Drum n Bass Rig as free standing software, they accept information on all MIDI channels.
I'm using an Oxygen 61 as a controller. I'm asking about Ableton, but I've had the same problem whenever the M Rigs software are used in hosts, such as Fruity Loops or Cubase.
Thanks.
In order to use the other MIDI channels, you need to create additional MIDI tracks in Live. Set the output of these MIDI tracks to be the M-Rig and choose the desired MIDI channel. The setup should be similar in the other applications.

This problem has had me stumped for months. I wish I'd come here long ago.

Jared, another issue. The solution you gave works with my desk top, which is running Windows XP, SP2. When I try the solution with my laptop, the M-Rig software still only receives on MIDI channel 1. On the laptop, the host application is Ableton 7 LE, the OS is Windows, but I'm running SP3. I've installed the updated Stand alone Version of Key Rig, so it runs with SP3.
I have updated Key Rig to run on XP with Service pack three. Any suggestions or patches for using Key Rig with my host - which is Ableton?

This works fine with my desk top. But it doesn't solve the problem on my laptop.
I'm running the following software on my laptop: Windows XP, SP3, Ableton 7 LE, Key Rig, updated to run as a standalone with XP and SP3.

Never mind, I found my mistake.
