Hello,

Have tried a variety of different suggestions from this forum to try and get my Firewire Solo working with Windows 7 64 bit, but am having no success. Device manager is displaying the FW Solo as a sound controller as I have managed to install the drivers from the XP 64bit beta driver, but under my Sounds tab the FW Solo is not displayed so I cannot set it as my soundcard.

I would appreciate any advice anyone can offer and if someone has managed to install their FW Solo on Windows 7 64 bit I would greatly appreciate a step by step guide as to how they did it.

Many thanks

Actually, the same thing applies to Win7 32-bit. I've tried everything I can think of to get the driver to show up under under playback devices to no avail. I've filed to Connect but this is an M-Audio issue. Like pheonix64, any advice (that works) would be appreciated.

I was able to get it to work by installing the Vista SP2 64 bit drivers. It failed to install at first but when I chose to reinstall with recomended settings it worked. It doesn't work perfectly and has audio glitches but it is better than nothing.
