I have an Audiophile 24/96 installed on XP.
It always worked fine...then I tried to download Windows Service Pack2...
The installation hung up so i exited it...
But ever since that I cant use my sound card...
Windows keeps saying there is 'no audio device', but the soundcard is clearly there...
I physically removed the card, uninstalled the software, re-installed the card, booted up, and it detected it and it worked....
BUT...
everytime I reboot, XP wont recognize the Audiophile...in Control Panel/Sounds - it says 'no audio device' and all the options are greyed out...
But in Device Manager it says the Audiophile is working...
How to I stop XP from doing this?
Thanks,
Ed
