Hi all,

I have a 2/2 speaker installation without sub.
When the bass management is on, the rear sound is not played on the rear right speaker. It is ok on the left.
I tried every analog output for this channel but no sound. :(
When BM is off, I get all speaker working as expected.
Is it a trick to have rear speaker working when BM is on ?
Are analog output assigned to the same software input when BM is on/off ?
I use AC3filter to have 2/2 from 5.1 channel

Regards,

I am on XP SP3, and previous driver installed to have BM.
one more thing : when BM is off, I do not see any level meter working evenn if I check monitor mixer in the patchbay tab.

Hi,
I have made progress to understand what happens with my setup (2 front speaker and 2 surround).
I use MPC for DVD and ac3filter for sound. I set output 2/2 in ac3filter. Therefore, output 3/4 are used for surround sound. If I turn on BM, output 3/4 are treated as center and sub. That's the point.
For surround Left (from ac3filter output), go out on center is ok : no frequency filtering.
For surround Right, audio goes out to a sw. And only bass are audible.

If I set 3/2+SW output in ac3filter, output 5/6 are assigned to surround speaker in BM panel and, it works as expected.

Nevertheless, I see that BM panel does not contain gain control for each channel, only delay. I can control it with ac3filter. But I can not with powerdvd where only the speaker configuration can be choosen.

So I will have to use VST plugin to do BM, set delay and level.
