Hi I'm a little confused by description of the jumper set up in the delta 1010lt manual. Can anyone tell me how I should have my jumpers set to achieve the lowest possible input volume? When i record overheads they are peaking all the time and i just can't get the volume down any lower.
thanks.

Position 2, with both jumpers at the bottom should give you the most head room; if you're still clipping, you may want to look into an inline pad (http://www.m-audio.com/products/en_us/MAudioMicrophonePadwithPhaseInverter-main.html).

Yes, setting both sets of jumpers to the bottom position will change inputs 1 and 2.
