I'll soon buy the audiophile 2496.

I wanna record electric guitar and bass on my computer.
I would like to know if it's possible to connect my electric guitar on input RCA left and my bass on the right with this:

and it's simply possible to use this just for one (guitar or bass) :

The Audiophile's inputs are line level; you need a preamp to bring your instruments up to line level. You may be able to get a signal into the computer with just those adapters, but the signal will likely be too quiet and there is no level control over the 24/96's inputs.
