In Vista's 'Problem Reports and Solutions' area, I have had the following response:

"Compatibility issue between Delta Audiophile and Windows

This problem was caused by a compatibility issue between this version of Windows and Delta Audiophile.

M-Audio, the company that manufactured Delta Audiophile, has informed Microsoft that they do not expect to offer updates to fix this problem."

Please tell me that it isn't so!

No, this isn't true. Do you have 64bit or 32bit Vista? Which driver are you installing?

I am running 32 bit.

I recently replaced my conked out XP running PC with a new fangled PC running Vista. It doesn't recognise my 2496 soundcard, so my Cubase, Makie mixer and M-Audio Studiophile BX5 monitors are currently redundant.

Help. Please...

Try this. Shut down the computer and remove the Audiophile PCI card. Start the computer and uninstall any Delta drivers that may be on your system. Download the latest driver (http://www.m-audio.com/index.php?do=support.drivers&f=930) and save it to your desktop. Run the installer and when prompted, shut down the computer. Install the Delta PCI card and reboot. Do you get any messages when Windows starts? Are you able to open the Delta control panel?
