Hi Everyone, I'm totally new to the group and am glad I have found this place :)
I have looked thru my D-44 Handbook, the FAQ's AND the Knowledge Data Base and have not found an answer for what I'm trying to do - if it IS answered somewhere and I have missed it, please accept my apology for taking up space here and if you would be kind enough to point me to the URL I'll be most grateful.
Here's me question:
I just installed the D-44 Card in my computer and connected my Break Out Box (BOB) and I'm wondering if I could use my "line-out" from my amp (Line 6 AxSys 212 - not a tube amp) as a "preamp" to run into my BOB "In" and then run the out from the BOB back into my "Aux Input" on the front of the AxSys to hear/monitor the sounds?
My concern is I don't want to short out the amp or computer or the D-44 card, let alone start some kind of chain-reaction that could destroy life as we know it on planet Earth (well maybe the last one is going overboard, buy I AM concerened about the other one's) ;)
Thank you very much for any help, and I'm thankful to have found this group!
