I'm a dinosaur and I record with Logic 5.5. I've had no problems for years! Recently I Upgraded to Sp3 on windows xp and download the appropriate driver from the m-audio site. Everything else plays fine until I try to record. I get a delay (about 1 second) along with my voice ( I hear my voice then the delay). I've tried to adjust buffers in Logic. I've tried to mess with the latency on the 24/96. I end up with bad crackling and I make the problem worse. I lost the original driver disk so I'm kinda lost. I don't care to much for the new control panel. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know. I have projects haulted due to this! Thanx.

If you directly monitor through the Delta control panel, there will be no latency or delay. Make sure you mute the track or disable software monitoring in Logic so you don't hear the doubled (delayed) signal.

You can revert to the previous driver/control panel by first uninstalling the current driver; then go to C:\Windows\System 32 and delete the DeltaII.cpl & deltaIICoIn.dll files. Then download and install the previous driver (5057v3):
