Session w/Producer Usb

Hello i bought the software at bestbuy, my system setting are as follow

Processor: AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core processor 4400+ 2.30 GHz

Memory Ram:2.0 GB

System Type: 32 Bit Operating System

i've only used it for one week and the software ver. is 1.5 i try to update but don't let me do it. and ti'll yesterday the program was working and i try to record today and the program did not wanted to open so i dont know was wrong. i hope you guys could help me please..

What error message do you get when you try to install the 1.6.3 update? Does it say something about no previous version found?

What happens when you try and open Session now? Do you get an error message? What does it say? Is the Producer USB attached when you try to launch Session?

no previous version of session updater.
yeah everything is connected normal but when i click to open session it don't open at all & it quickly vanishes from the task manager, don't know why is it doing this.

We have received several reports of the "no previous version" found error; it doesn't happen on all systems. It's being investigated by the developer. Send me a private message with your name and address and I can send you a copy of a Session 1.6 DVD.

Are you running Windows XP or Windows Vista?

Try deleting Session's settings files and see if Session will open:

XP: (must enable viewing of hidden files & folders)

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\M-Audio\Session\AppSettings.ini
C:\Documents and Settings\CURRENT USER\Local Settings\Application Data\M-Audio\Session\UserSettings.ini


Vista: (must enable viewing of hidden files & folders)

C:\ProgramData\M-Audio\Session\AppSettings.ini
C:\Users\User Name\AppData\Local\M-Audio\Session\UserSettings.ini

Try the latest 1.6.3v4 updater (http://www.m-audio.com/?do=products.demo&demo_ID=Session163v4&form=1); if you continue to receive the No Previous version error, send me a PM with your name and address and I'll send you a new DVD.

Also, which bundle do you have? What version information appears on the DVD?

Hi JA I have sent you a private message with my address because the 1.6.3v4 updater wont let me install bc if no previous version found.

I will send you the new disc. Did you uninstall 1.5 before running the 1.6.3v4 installer? It's an installer, not an updater; you just need your original DVD so the 1.6.3v4 installer can grab the content files.
