Default 32gb CF card with MicroTrack II?

Does anyone know if a 32gb CF card will work with the MicroTrack II? If not, what is the largest card that can be used? Thanks!

I think the max is either 8 or 16 GB, but a firmware update could certainly make 32GB possible.

The biggest we have tested is 16GB, however there is no maximum size limit, so a 32GB card should work.

I've experienced problems with 16GB...wound up going back to 8GB and the problems went away.

Thanks for the feedback on this. Which 16GB card were you using?

Hi there forum, prospective buyer here. It'd be very helpful to know the latest on this - how big is now officially supported?

    Cheers!

I bought this: Kingston Elite Pro 32GB Compact Flash (CF) Flash Card Model CF/32GB-S2 for my Microtrack II after reading one of the user reviews that said it worked great in a SoundDevices 788T to record 8 tracks at 24/96. If it works with the 788, it should work with the Microtrack, right?

I just spent a week and a half recording ambience in the Everglades using either the included T-Mic or a Sennheiser MKH 418. The Microtrack II performed well and I had no problems with the 32 Gig card. I did the recordings at 24/48 but I tested 24/96 and it recorded onto that card until the battery ran out. It did split the wav file at the 2 gig mark, but I didn't check if the gap was seamless.
