Angry unable to locate hardware. Make sure your hardware is connected

Can somebody help me. I bought the M-audio fast tack C600. Its giving me the error,"unable to locate hardware. Make sure your hardware is connected.". I have a windows 7 operating system 64 bit. I had this problem at the beginning and I did something to it and started working, but now its doing it again. Can't figure out what's going on. Help anybody. Thanks

Have you tried a different USB port? Make sure it is not a USB 3 port. Have you tried reinstalling the drivers?
