Default Music cannot be opened because QuickTime was not installed

Hi, I recently bought the Avid Vocal Studio from Pro Tools SE and I downloaded a song from iTunes. I wanted to import the song to the software and when I did something came up that said I needed to download QuickTime. So I did and went back and tried it again and it said the same thing. I called Apple and they said it might have something to do with the Avid software. Help?

What operating system are you running?

Can you post a screenshot of the error? Your first attachment isn't appearing.
