Exclamation BX8a sounds like a blown woofer amp / bass is no good

So my pair was working up until a month ago (i've had them for about 2yrs+ now). I just turned on the setup and the right speaker sounds like the bass is no good. i've heard it describes as "farting" before as well. I wanted to know what repair options I have for this.

I tried swapping inputs to make sure it was the speaker.

it seems the XLR connector may be broken / loose (either as an additional problem or the cause of the problem)

Try using the 1/4" input instead. You can Contact Tech Support to arrange for out of warranty repair if you experience thes ame problem.

from what you described I think I have the same problem, similar at least.
noticed when mixing a very dull bass gtr track. One of the drivers is distorting bass freq a lot, i mean A LOT!
a ran a sine wave oscillator through the speaker, found out that at 60hz(which is the worst) sine wave sounds almost like a square wave.
    any ideas?
fyi its definitely not a cable.

yep it definitely isn't the cable. the xlr connector seems loose when i touch it (compared it to the other speaker in the pair).
