    Question Audiophile 24/96 crashes

My Audiophile 24/96 usually works fine but I have one big problem: When it is not in use for some time (no music playing etc.), it often crashes; i.e. programs cannot access the device. I have to de- and reactivate it via system control. That solves the issue... at least until the next crash. I'm using Windows 7 64 Bit SP-1.

    Any ideas?

I just found this in the release notes:
Known Issue: Several Avid Community Forum members and Beta testers have reported an issue where after 3 hours of continuous streaming, audio output will not function when an application such as Windows Media player is paused, stopped or closed. We have been unable to reproduce this issue internally. The known workaround is to restart the Windows Audio Service. Press Ctrl+Shift+Esc and select the Processes Tab. Right-click Audiosrv and choose stop. Then right-click it again and choose to start the service.
Seems to be exactly the same problem. Too bad there's no way to solve it. Well, at least you guys know there are some more people with that issue.

    System specs:
    AMD Athlon II X2 220 2.80 GHz
    4 GB Memory
    Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bit SP-1
    Driver version 6.0.8
